DIRENA HEALTH SUPPORT, Non government organization

Direna health support is a non-government, nonprofit professional and voluntary organization that is humble beginning as a one unit in Ruvuma region but with the desire of having Braches throughout Tanzania. Direna health support was established with aims to be a leading voice in public health in Tanzania. 

For short time DIRENA is demonstrated an enduring commitment to the promotion of public health in Ruvuma region, in  the second phase expect to have braches of the organization in other regions of Arusha, Rukwa. Dodoma, Geita, Mbeya, coast, Morogoro ,Singida ,Mara, Tanga, Mtwara,Shinyanga ,Kigoma, Lindi, Bukoba and Iringa. 

DIRENA aimed that all Braches will be close to the local government authorities and therefore be ideal organs for public health activities at distric and community level.

  The main objective of DIRENA health support is to prevent diseases and promote healthy lifestyle through advocacy, lobbying, education and awareness creation on public issue at all in Tanzania by

• Promoting networking with all actors on health services, climate change and environment conservation

• Raising awareness on gender equality, equity and women empowerment.

• Enhance the community on become more adaptable and profitable for community health.

• Advocate and act as a Centre for provision of integrated elders and children justice.

• Empower the community on support poor women establishing self-help groups.
